No matter how far away
No matter what they say
I will not obey, as they try to lead me astray, to push you away
I have embraced and taken hold of you in spirit, in mind
You are my Disease, Religion and hope that so tightly bind
You've infected my heart and mind
Converted my soul
Given a hope that alone I couldn't find
And although I've caused your heart much pain,
to bring upon your disdain
that caused tears to crawl down your face like rain
Yet through it all, my sins, my scares you forgot.
There by my soul. my heart you bought.
So no matter how far away
No matter what they say
I am proud to shout every day
I am yours.
And you are mine.
Now I say with no doubt in mind
and your hand in mine
"do not worry, its ok.
For our love will pave the way"

taking a different path with this deviation. That being its not a photo
 . i wrote this with my spare time for a great friend who is in a relationship, but the parents are against it because 'they are too young'...I know that this poem doesnt really follow any kind of format  . perhaps ill look into putting it into a proper form...any ways i hope all who read enjoy. |
